From Friday 23rd July, Jean-Claude de Toulouse will be cooking in the Market and providing tastings of some of his favourite dishes using fresh Central Market produce.
Join Jean-Claude at 11.30 at the Kitchen/stage area in the Market this Friday.
Friday 23rd July - Starfish (Flathead fillet stuffed with walnut, shallotts, capsicum and parsley and served with Pistachio Peto Mayonnaise)
Jean-Claude will also be holding Cooking Demonstrations in the Market on the following dates -

Jean-Claude deToulouse celebrates the first anniversary of Explore Cuisine & Culture at the Central Market.
On Friday 16th July, Jean-Claude cooked his signature dish - Gourmet Delight, at the main Stage/Kitchen area in the Central Market.
Shoppers were able to watch, learn, enjoy and taste for themselves as Jean-Claude shared his passion and expertise with everyone and provided tastings as well.

Kids School Holiday Cooking Activity
On again for the July School holidays!
Our School holiday Cooking Programs with local cooking expert and teacher, Rosa Matto have again been a great success!
This school holidays, kids were able to participate in pizza making classes with Rosa,
The kids had a ball as they made their own pizza from scratch under Rosa and her teams guidance, cooked it and then got to enjoy their creations.

So much fun, that we are doing it again!
Music @ the Market is on each Friday night in the Market with live music from 6pm to 8pm.
And each Friday we have one of our amazing South Australian wineries offering free tastings of their great wines and our own Music @ the Market Sausage Sizzle featuring 2 of the many gourmet sausage varieties that you can find here in the Market.
Try different sausages each week for just $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00 and top them off with one of our amazing gourmet sauces, spreads or chutneys - all available from here in the Market.
A real feast for the senses here in the Market from 6pm to 8pm each Friday.

Butcher Boys Fire up the BBQ for a Good Cause
The Central Market's very own "Celebrity Chef's"
The Knoll brothers - Alex, Andreas, Dieter and Stephen, semi finalists in Channel 9's Great Aussie Cook Off - fired up the BBQ in the Market in support of a very worthy cause.
The Butcher Boys as they were known on the show, raided the shelves of their smallgoods business Barossa Fine Foods to host a gourmet sausage sizzle - with all proceeds going to the Women's & Children's Hospital Foundation.
Well done guys and congratulations on being semi-finalists in the Great Aussie Cook-off!
